How long does it take to complete?
The current MBA program is designed to take just 1 year and 10 months to complete. Students will take 11 to 12 courses depending on their academic background, each lasting eight weeks. Limestone’s MBA program allows students the ability to work at their own pace, focusing on a single online class at a time.
Can I enroll in this program if I travel for my job?
The majority of the courses in Limestone’s MBA program are delivered online with only three required residency weekends. Many students find the online format makes it easy to travel or handle family obligations while simultaneously working towards a graduate degree. The courses offered in the program are flexible allowing you to complete the coursework at your convenience. Plus, the residency weekends help students build valuable relationships with fellow classmates and professors.
How much does it cost?

Do I need to take the GMAT?
Most students do take the GMAT or GRE for admission; however, Limestone College does offer three distinct levels of acceptance – one of which does not require a score from either of these tests. Students who demonstrate five years of management experience in their related field are eligible for provisional acceptance, which does not require an official GMAT or GRE sore. Students that wish to seek provisional acceptance must submit their resume showing the five years of management experience.
Do I need to have a bachelor’s degree in business?
You do not have to have a business degree to apply or be accepted into the program. Based on your undergraduate coursework, Limestone College may require you to take the prerequisite course, BA500 Foundations in Business, to give you a solid background in business prior to starting your graduate coursework. BA500 Foundations in Business is an eight week course offered to non-business majors that covers foundational business topics necessary to ensure a student’s success in the MBA program.
Who teaches the classes?
The MBA program at Limestone is taught by Limestone’s full-time faculty, which gives you access to experienced business professors with 92 percent holding a Ph.D. in a business-related field. In addition, students will have an opportunity to connect face-to-face with program faculty during three residency weekends.
